It : It is unusual for blepharitis to cause any pain. Usually redness, irritation, grittiness, itching and tearing are part of that problem. Pain is usually caused by a stye forming or if the skin is so inflamed from the blepharitis that it is starting to crack or peel. Yes: All steroids except those specifically for the eye have that disclaimer. Use as directed and try to limit the exposure to two week intervals but in the short run it is safe. ...Read more
