Not ovulating : Most physicians would believe you're probably not ovulating if your periods are 45 days apart. If you want to confirm ovulation without physician involvement, why not try ovulation prediction kits available at a pharmacy. No ovulation: If you did not have a spontaneous menses then you didn't ovulate. Provera will bring on a menstrual cycle if you did not ovulate. You may want to try glucophage (metformin) or Femara next to help you ovulate. If you are not on a low glycemic index diet that will help you. May need higher dose: If you are not ovulating, you don't get a regular period. The Memprat helps bring a period on, then you take SEROPHENE (clomiphene) to try and get your ovaries to make an egg. I usually check progesterone level around Day 21 of cycle to see if ovulation happened. If you are not pregnant, and you have missed a period, you may not have ovulated.
