Depends: If you are completely finished with those medicines and not taking any oral antibiotics or antifungals, then it's probably ok. It also depends on what other medicines you are on and what your recent liver function numbers were. ...Read more

Complications: Surgical site infections are serious and frustrating, but they do occur. Sounds like you are being treated appropriately with the picc line and antibiotics. Recovery from surgery and then the infection is difficult. Take your vitamins, wash your skin with mild soap and rinse well. Use olive oil on your wet skin to moisturize it, then hairdryer the area.
