It depends: Any abdominal trauma has the potential to injure your spleen or other viscera, and cause internal bleeding. That said, it generally takes a great deal of force to cause internal bleeding, such as from a car wreck or serious altercation. However, if you have a condition that gives you splenomegaly, it is much easier to be injured. This is a common problem with infectious mononucleosis. ...Read more

Bleeding on 11/17-18, last sex 11/3 PMS symptoms before bleeding, now hardness on R side of abdomen, negative HPT's. Could I still be pregnant?
Pregnancy unlikely: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. ...Read more

Testicles: Testicles normally pass from the abdomen into the scrotum during development. At 6 months your baby's testicles should be in the scrotum or you should be able to bring them into the scrotum. If they are in the abdomen they should be brought into the scrotum where their growth can be watched. See a Pediatric Urologist for advise. All the best. ...Read more

Here are some. ..: Various reasons to explain why both testes fail to "normally" descend into the scrotum in occasional male newborn have been speculated and none of them could be said firmly in 100%. Is u/s reliable forbilat nonpalp testis in 6 month old baby. If it says intra abdominal symmetric right and left testis can it be real testsor somethin?
Pretty reliable: The U/S simply detects "images/shadows", it is the reliability of the radiologist that determines the accuracy of the report. Radiologists are well trained to interpret what they are seeing on U/S and I would anticipate that this is true in this case. If you are concerned, asked to have the U/S read by a second radiologist for a second opinion ...Read more
