How can I end intestinal candida overgrowth without dieting?

How can I end intestinal candida overgrowth without dieting?

Who says?: "intestinal candida overgrowth" is a diagnosis most often made by fringe practitioners. I remain undecided as to whether it exists at all, but I would urge you to get a second opinion from one or mroe mainstream physicians if you are actually symptomatic.

Please tell me what type of of doctors treat intestinal candida overgrowth?

Independent thinkers: This is not a mainstream diagnosis, and i'd be cautious especially if you've self-diagnosed based on something you've read. Your best move now would be to get with an evidence-based holistic physician in your community who can help guide you through an area that i'll be the first to admit is confusing to all of us.

What to do if I have read that allergies is cause by candida on the intestine walls. What medicine is effective in killing candida (fungi)?

What to do if I have read that allergies is cause by candida on the intestine walls. What medicine is effective in killing candida (fungi)?

Be more discerning: You're an adult and I hope that you don't actually believe everything that you read. This is not only obviously false (why do different people get different allergies? why don't pathologists such as myself ever see candida there? Why don't drugs that really kill candida reverse allergies?) -- it's a cruel scam. Read the blogs -- there are plenty of remedies but no one is ever cured.

Does the "beneficial bacteria" in yogurt kill candida albicans overgrowth in your intestinal tract?

Does the "beneficial bacteria" in yogurt kill candida albicans overgrowth in your intestinal tract?

Candidal overgrowth: This urban myth has not been scientifically proven, but it has not been disproved. The "balance" between bacterial flora and yeast cells in the intestinal tract (colon) is generally regulated by what you eat. If you choose to add unpasteurized yogurt to your diet it may well change the character of your stools, since it contains lactobacilli. Same available as a probiotic for oral use.

I have oral, intestinal and vaginal candida. Can I take oral nystatin for several weeks, if is necessary?

I have oral, intestinal and vaginal candida. Can I take oral nystatin for several weeks, if is necessary?

Yes, even longer: Oral Nystatin is a remarkably safe medicine. Successful treatment of candidiasis often takes several months and it is safe to take Nystatin for months or even years. Besides Nystatin it is necessary to follow a diet low in sugars and simple carbs and to take probiotics. Consider anti-fungal herbs as well. See http://huff. To/15mbzao ; http://bit. Ly/1aeoabl.

Can parapsilosis candida in intestine lead to itch all over body after every single food? How about h pylori in stomach? Whcih one is more likely to lead to itching all over the body?

Neither: C. Parapsilosis cause inhospital blood infections-potentially fatal. H pylori lives in stomach, can cause ulcers, inflammation, can be prerequisite for stomach cancers. Rarely associated with some lymphomas. Itching is a very nonspecific symptom-lots of causes. Itching can be a symptom of lymphoma, among others. See your doc.

Does the first symptoms of HIV after exposure (with condom of unknown persons status) can include candida on men's penis? Or this shows up later?

Not usually: Although never say never...It is not my observance that this is a major way to present and I have a large HIV practice in ft. Lauderdale. Pretty much ground zero for HIV infections so to speak. Fever, chills, night sweats, weight loss, thrush and swollen lymph nodes are a common presentation. Diarrhea as well. These may occur in just ~30% of people. Many can be completely asymptomatic.
