My internal stye shrunk and is no longer irritating. I still feel a bump at the location of the stye. How do I tell if the stye is gone?

Several things: Home treatment is all that is needed for most styes. Apply warm, wet compresses for 5 -10 minutes, 3 to 6 x's a day. This helps the area heal faster & open a blocked pore so that it can drain.
