Can fear stress and being upset make you shake I been shaking a lot lately but not like seizures I have epilepsy though I shake but no seizures what causes shaking?

Yes and no: Stress can lead to insomnia and that can lead to exacerbation of a physiological tremor as well as essential tremor and poor seizure control. Alternatively there are also certain seizures that are associated with tremulousness outside of an attack (i.e. Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy or JME). I have an extreme fear or getting breast cancer. I've seen therapist but can't shake this. You have any advice? I would like to have breast reduction

Educate yourself: Breast reduction will not significantly reduce your chance of getting breast cancer. If you have the gene, prophylactic mastectomy may be an option. Otherwise, not appropriate just for fear. Nothing you can do will make you immune or even reduce your risk much. You also know that proper surveillance against breast cancer drops your risk of dying of it to very low. To be brave, act brave. ...Read more

Headache that is sometimes worse sometimes better coupled with some memory trouble. Have anxiety and depression. Can's shake the fear of brain tumor.

There is a solution: Headaches are common and most often related to stress (Tension headache). Brain tumor is an uncommon cause of headache. If you are that worried about brain tumor, it is easy to check for this, with an X-ray. But you need to see a doctor who can then guide you and order either CT scan or MRI of the brain to check for brain tumor which is easy to detect with one of these tests. ...Read more

Can anxiety cause brain tumor-like symptoms? I fear that I have a brain tumor because I started getting nauseated and weak fatigued and muscle shaking

Can anxiety cause brain tumor-like symptoms? I fear that I have a brain tumor because I started getting nauseated and weak fatigued and muscle shaking

Yes.: Symptoms raising concern for brain tumor vary depending on the part of the brain they affect. Uncontrollable nausea and vomiting (without diarrhea), dizziness, vertigo or focal weakness or sensory loss in one part of your body on one side of your body would be symptoms to watch for. Brain tumors are rare, and it's much more likely your symptoms are due to anxiety. A neurologist could help. ...Read more

Please don't: You must speak with your physician or other prescriber. At your age, increasing the dose of any benzo or other mood-altering drug can be physically dangerous. It sounds like panic attacks beyond the GAD. If Paxil isn't working, a different SSRI or use of an SNRI may be more helpful. You have to work with your health care professional on this, and they need to be your first source. ...Read more

Freaked tonight. Frozen in bed, shaking, crying, panic attack. Hypervigilant, but didn't want it to go away bc of fear? Felt like a child again. Ptsd?

Depends on trigger: If there was a specific memory (like of a traumatic event) or trigger for it, then it might be ptsd. More likely it is anxiety that is culminating in panic. Either way, it will get progressively more life-limiting and needs treatment. See a lcsw/msw counselor or a psychologist--either can work with your dr or with a psychiatrist to rx med (-s) to assist in reducing your syptom frequency / severity. ...Read more

Need smthg for severe panic when flying, involuntary shaking, body pain, irtnl fear. Xanex numbs body not mind. Dr. suggested Lexotanil. 20 hr flight?

Calm flight: Lexotanil is similar to Xanax but may be worth a try. Ask your doctor about Buspar (buspirone) for anxiety, short-acting. An eye mask may also help to calm and sleep. Avoid caffeine the day before until you've landed as it will keep you awake and heighten anxiety. Listen to "sleep music" or whatever soothing sounds you prefer on youtube. Distract yourself with pleasant reading and images. Hope this helps. ...Read more
