Lateral internal sphincterotomy (anal) 2012 for fissure. I have "pressure pain" and extreme painful urgency. Is this normal? Will it ever stop?
It's not normal.: More information will be needed before i could give you a more complete answer. For instance did it begin right after the sphincterotomy or did it develop some time later? Tough to say: Non treatment is 100%. This is especially true for sphincter of Oddi syndrome. Stick with your gasteoenterologist. Also ask about looking in to wether or not gastroparesis is present.
