Internal Itching Chest And Cough
I have a cough that itches n hurts slightly in my chest and I have a cough even when I'm not sick and I'm a smoker could it b phnumonia?
Chest Cough - cause?: So, without a list of other associated signs & symptoms, I could not safely or professionally diagnose pneumonia in a such a setting. Ur q says ur a smoker, but profile says non-smoker. Smokers may develop cough over time, as well as, ironically, brief exacerbation of cough when they try to quit or cut back smoking. Don't be discouraged! Quitting is by far the healthiest thing you can do! D/w pcp. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Cough of over 4 months, pain, itching inside my chest whenever I snezz and tiny whizzing sounds when I breath, internal cold and pressure in the chest
My daughter is complaining of " itching inside her chest" she has no cough, no other symptoms, or not on any meds. What can possibly be causing this?
Reactive airway: Occasionally allergic responses called reactive airway disease can present as such symptoms...it is before one starts wheezing. If she has had asthma, in the past I would consider this an early indicator of it. This is a very general answer based on no exam and contact with your daughter. Her interpretation of this symptom could be way off what I could be speculating. So have her seen by your peds ...Read more
Dry cough and too much itching inside my chest when I breath. It makes me crazy and cant stop coughing. Is this allergie or asthma or what?
Determine cause: Chronic dry cough is most commonly due to 3 conditions: asthma, post-nasal drip, or GERD (heartburn). You might have one or a combination of all three. Post-viral cough is also very common and can last for weeks. Further workup by allergist is helpful as they can perform a more detailed assessment including skin testing and pulmonary function testing. Treatment will depend on cause. ...Read more
I've had cough for about 3 months mostly at night, with Itching and tightness of the chest, coughing up of colourless sputum, is it asthma?
Many possibilities: Including asthma but also GERD (gastroesophageal relux disease) or post nasal drip. As these other forms of cough can be notoriously worse at night related to how we are more predisposed to severe reflux (which csn even present only with a cough!) or post nasal drip based on how our anatomy changes with our body position. Sounds like you should review this with your doc. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
