Texture/Doctor Exam: Most hemorrhoids (varicose veins of the anus) are soft, squishy tissue that distend after straining or having a bm, and may bleed. If a hemorrhoid becomes firm, enlarged, and tender, it may have thrombosed (clotted). This is treated w/ pain medication and time. Anal lump present all the time requires medical attention to assure that it isn't something else. See fp, gi, or surgeon! good luck!
What to do if I do not know how far up internal hemorrhoids are, are they just close to the surface?

Is there any methods to cure "internal hemorrhoids" beside eating more fibre. I have it for like 5 months now.
What to do if I have small internal hemorrhoids and i really want to get ridconstipation, will that make the hemorrhoids shrink?
Yes: If hemorrhoid a are small, treat the constipation. Increase your fluid intake. Reduce cheese and dairy. Increase fibre, fresh fruits, and fresh vegetables.
Office treatment: If your internal hemorrhoids prolapse out through your anus to the point that you notice it, that is not likely to go away on its own (the horse is out of the barn), and it may eventually get to the point that you have to manually push them back in. Most grade 2 internal hemorrhoid prolapse is easily treated with safe and often painless office procedures like rubber band ligation.See 1 more doctor answer
I have bleeding from apparent internal hemorrhoids. At what point should this become worrisome? Or does it ever? Any advice?
I have had several internal hemorrhoids removed and now I have to wipe excessively to get clean. Sometimes an hour or two later, i wipe
again but very little. No blood, no pain no urge to go.
Pasty gooey: Hard to clean stool is usually due to a lack of fluids usually about 40 ounces short for the day. Stay away from caffeine and alcohol and increase your fluids. This should help in 3-4 days. You may also have had damage to your sphincter muscles from the surgery. This too needs to be evaluated.
Normal veins: Everybody is born with normal hemorrhoidal veins that serve as a vascular cushion for stool passage. They cause problems when people abuse them with poor diet, poor fluids, excessive straining, constipation or diarrhea. They should last a lifetime if you treat them properly.See 1 more doctor answer
Depend: Depends on your symptoms and the anatomy of your hemorrhoids. In general the standard treatment include dietary modification, infra red coagulation (for small bleeding internal hemorrhoids), rubber band ligation(for larger bleeding or prolapsing internal hemorrhoids) , surgery for multiple large internal internal and external hemorrhoids...Etc, etc...See a colorectal surgeon to discuss the best rx.See 1 more doctor answer
1-2 weeks: I assume we are not talking about after hemorrhoid surgery...If you have aggravated internal/external hemorrhoids, treatments such as stool softeners, fiber therapy, Hydrocortisone foam and sitz baths with epsom salts 4-8 times daily, relieves most hemorrhoidal crises within 1-2 weeks, or less if not severe.
