Yes: You can have to separate things at the same time. The question is, who diagnosed your fissure? If you haven't seen a doc, i'd urge you to be evaluated to ensure this isn't an infectious source that is causing anal burning, vaginal irritation and pain with urination. ...Read more

Who examined you: We are born with hemorrhoid tissue and there is an external and internal component to all 3. There are no pain nerve fibers above the anus where the internal hemorrhoids are found so they really cannot hurt. I have just healed from an internal anal fissure with the help of antibiotics. After how long can I do anal sex? Would sex provoke it to come back?

Freeze the pain: Cold usually dulls the pain from any tissue as it reduces nerve transmission but at the same time it will also reduce local blood flow (think frost bite!) which may not be a good idea. Your best answer would be a surgical treatment for the hemorrhoids and the fissure. Please consult a general surgeon for your options. ...Read more

Get treatment: Whether it is hemorrhoids or anal fissure, you should get it treated. Without family history of early age colon cancer, you do not need to worry about that. When you turn 50, get a screening colonoscopy. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex. ...Read more
