Consider these...: Anatomically, the right upper quadrant (RUQ) of the abdomen includes: liver, gallbladder, pancreatic head, bile ducts and ampulla, c-loop of the duodenum, stomach antrum and pylorus, the hepatic flexure of the colon. Yes: In particular, biliary dyskinesia is thought to be a functional gallbladder problem, and can sometimes be diagnosed with a CCK-HIDA scan. Any pain made: Worse with movement suggests musculoskeletal origin, like muscle strain. But abdominal pain has 100's of causes, and some causes originate outside of abdomen, like pneumonia, pleuritis, or pulmonary embolus. And it can be something as superficial as shingles. Could be gallbladder: While there are many things that could cause the symptoms you describe, possible gallstones or gallbladder problems certainly rise to the top of the list.
