Intermittent pain under shoulder blade for 3 days. Female 70 years of age?

Hard to say: More details please! How long does the pain last? Is is sharp or dull? Does it happen with movement or at rest? Any other symptoms? Atypical chest pain can be serious or minor depending on all these things, plus your medical history. If the pain is only with movement, it is likely due to a problem with your muscles. If not, lots of causes. See a doc. If shortness of breath, nausea, pain to ER.

Thoracic pain: There are many causes of symptoms described, it is not enough to say its not cardiac, go further to figure out what is causing the sensations eg pinched nerve, GI causes, anxiety etc etc. Good luck.

Stabbing pain: More information is needed : did you have any extra activity / exercise / crushing injury to upper back, any extra lifting of objects over the past days, did you experience other associated symptoms with the pain (sweating, problems breathing, dizziness, nausea, severe headache, chest pain), have you used any medicine... Please seek medical attention for your pain. Take care...

What can causing intermittent tingling under one shoulder blade? Could it be shingles?

What can causing intermittent tingling under one shoulder blade? Could it be shingles?

No: I say no because u said intermittent, so am presuming this has been going on for a while. Commonly, tingling or some sensation...Itchy, pain... Occurs prior to the outbreak of the rash of shingles, but generally this happens within 10 days. The rash is like crops of tiny blisters that occur along a nerve path on only one side of the body. Likely tingle will resolve on own. If not, c the doc.

Intermittent mild localized left bicep pain. Dizziness. No swelling/warmth. Blood clot or nerve? I also have left peck and shoulder/blade pain.

Intermittent mild localized left bicep pain. Dizziness. No swelling/warmth. Blood clot or nerve? I also have left peck and shoulder/blade pain.

? Cervical Radiculop: Athy. One can see dizziness and radiating pain into the upper shoulder, biceps or radial side of the forearm. The pectoralis muscle receives innervation for most all cervical nerve roots and by your description the most likely level would be c5-6. You should see your doctor for a full exam. I hope this helps.

Get checked: Multiple possible causes of your symptoms. May certainly be musculoskeletal, but cardiac needs to be ruled out. A good detail history of your symptoms coulpled with an exam of the area will likely sort it out.

What would cause intermittent pain under right breast towards the back radiating to right shoulder blade been going on for over a month?

What would cause intermittent pain under right breast towards the back radiating to right shoulder blade been going on for over a month?

It depends: There are many possible causes. An irritation of a nerve in the thoracic pain can cause pain to radiate around one side of the trunk. A gallbladder problem can cause pain radiating into the right side as can a lung and kidney problem. A detailed exam and appropriate studies can usually tell the cause. Consider being checked. Thank you for the question.

10 mos intermittent left shoulder blade pain. Pain also in arm down to fingers. Back pain can sometimes be eased by deep breath. What is this?

Could be impingement: You may have some inflamed muscles in the shoulder blade region and even into the shoulder, which might also be in spasm, causing some of that pain. With inflammation, sometimes nerves can get pinched and impinged, causing you to have referred pain down your arm and fingers. You can try heat and ice, as well as Ibuprofen but may need to see your doc for physical therapy referral and/or imaging.

What causes 10 mos intermittent left shoulder blade pain? Pain also in arm down to fingers. Back pain sometimes eased by deep breath. Fear cardiac.

Not cardiac: There's nothing about your description that suggests heart disease. I would be concerned about cervical disk disease with neural impingement causing that distribution & duration of pain. An MRI would rule it in or out.
