I've always ate spicy food without problem. Recently began getting low stomach pains after eating spicy food. Is it something serious?

You are correct. Your healthy stomach has powerfull acid and thus adding sour foods here and there is not a big deal.
But, if you have problems such as ulcers, gastritis etc. Which may be from hypersecretion of acid (more than usual) to start with, then adding acidic foods (sour) may/more likely cause stomach upset/trouble for you.
