For last 2 yrs i feel pain near sternum around 3rd rib on the right side while shruging shoulders, bending forward, laying on that side. What can it be?

Cartilage: It sounds like the cartilage where the rib connects to the sternum is irritated. It's called costochondritis. It's common and sometimes responds to Ibuprofen and rest. Lump: A very specific description, with mainly skin cysts (clogged glands or ?acne at your age) occurring in this location. Is it mobile with the skin, or more fixed to the bone (the latter would be less common)? Lymph nodes are unusual in the middle of the chest as well.
