Difficulty falling: asleep is often associated w/anxiety while waking up early and not returning to sleep is associated w/depression. Periodic waking is associated w/overall light sleep. Yes and no: Facebook can be as bad, but it's more of a sin of commission than before. With facebook, you can filter who knows your information or can post on your page, but once somebody is a friend, they have access to everything, including information about your friends. Avoid caffeine. Avoid large, late meal. Make sure your bed is comfortable and use it only for sleeping. Physical activity may help, but not too close to bedtime.
