Got tattoo on inner wrist. It is day 6 & now hand & arm is sore & feels stiff. Tattoo looks & feels fine. No signs of infection. Is stiffness normal?
Sore wrist: This is not a normal reaction to tattooing pigment. If you were allergic or infected there should be pain, tenderness and swelling with redness. The procedure may have stirred up a carpal tunnel syndrome where numbness of the fingers could be a clue. For that use a wrist splint. Does not sound like a complication of pregnancy. Doubt it: If you have a mark there, I doubt it has anything to do with your teething/sucking habits as a baby. Those all heal if the skin is normal. You likely have congenital skin defect or nevus. These often have irregular depth and a collection of blood vessels underneath.
