Cover the area with a clean dressing changed every other day and protected from trauma. Antibiotics do not help healing unless it is truly infected. ...Read more

Can i receive proper medication for my back injury in ohio I have L5 s1 disc herniation and radiculopathy and cronic pain in back and both legs
Complicated: Relying solely on medications is not an optimal solution. Pain meds won't fix your problem and thus taking them will lead to tolerance and risk dose escalation. There is a role for pain meds if used sparingly and only in times of severe breakthrough pain. At 41, they shouldn't be used around the clock. Also consider medications for nerve pain but again they won't fix the problem. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

If diabetes runs in your family, your risk of developing the disease is higher. However, experiencing hypoglycemia does not necessarily mean you have diabetes. Diabetes is diagnosed by blood glucose tests that show a trend of high blood sugars in the blood plasma (over 126). It is manifested by high blood sugar in the blood and low performance of Insulin (which is produced by the body to lower the blood sugar). Symptoms of high blood sugar include extreme thirst/hunger, blurred vision, frequent urination, dry mouth, poor wound healing, recurrent infection and fatigue.
