If you are asking: For yourself, and do not have any congenital issue, then it is not likely a slipped capital femoral epiphysis as this only occurs in pediatrics where the growth plates are still open. Some kids can have this, and, with kids being so tough, they may not be able to tell the difference. However, if they have pain in their hip, and it hasn't gone away, they will need an x ray w/good physical exam. ...Read more
