Inguinal Hernias Causing Kidney Stones
What is the treatment for severe groin pain while walking generated by a hip joint (not a hernia, not kidney stone)?
The kidneys are paired organs that lie on either side of the vertebral column. Part of their critical functions include the excretion of urine and removal of nitrogenous wastes products from the blood. They regulate acid-base, electrolyte, fluid balance and blood pressure. Having pain in groin area and around testicles after stretching out groin for martial arts. Went to E.R did MRI and urine test. No hernia visible but blood in urine. Diagnosed with kidney stones. Been 3 weeks still hurting in groin.
What can cause right side pain. By groin area. Blood pressure was high also. Appendix removed already. Ct scan normal. No kidney stone. Or hernia?
Many causes: Right sided groin pain can result from many conditions, including bone/joint problems, other intestinal problems (besides the appendix), like diverticulitis, genitourinary (reproductive and urinary tracts) like epidymitis (inflammation of structures surrounding the testicle), or bruising to the muscle/tendons. Often kidney stones are treated consevatively for up to 72 hours with forced fluid intake and oral pain meds. Go to ED if pain severe. ...Read more

I have pcos, a large hiatus hernia, keep getting utis & kidney stones. I feel like the doctors think i'm annoying them. I go at least once a fortnight?
My sympathies: Problems with kidney stones and utis should be both treatable and further stones and utis preventable. Hiatal hernia and pcos should both respond to medical therapy. Hopefully your primary care dr. Is part of a group so you can receive comprehensive care. However, your doctors should not feel annoyed if you have genuine problems requiring treatment. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Stones in the ureter cause pain which radiates into the groin but stones don't hang out there forever. Search for another cause of your pain. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
