Seroma?: Could be a fluid collection under the skin (seroma), but that usually develops within about 3 weeks post-op, and subsides in 3-6 months. If the hernia was in the scrotum, fluid could be collecting there, mimicking hydrocele. If a hernia: is small, and depending on body habitus, it may be difficult or impossible to palpate on physical exam. Some are only visualized on imaging studies like CT. Incarcerated means it can't be reduced, so not enough info provided to determine that. ...Read more

Unusual indication: Yes , some times mesh will be removed due to various reasons , now most likely you have weans or hernia , if you want to do push ups / sit ups you have to get it repaired , see your surgeon. ...Read more

Depends: It depends it whether or not the hernia is causing you any problems. If not, go ahead and train and run. If so, curb your activity based on how you feel. I have heard many docs state you should limit your activity, but in my practice, I generally say activity as tolerated. That is based on a more complete evaluation though. See your doctor to be sure. Hernia: Anytime hernia get repaired, there is some weakening of the canal and so your old repair may be letting a new hernia through. Be careful with lifting heavy weights and check with the surgeon who did the original operation. He'd be the one who'd know for sure. ...Read more
