Could be: It could be "hot-tub folliculitis" which typically goes away on its own if a person stays out of the hot tub until the rash is gone. Rashes are hard to describe and to visualize in words, so a doctor would have to examine the rash to tell what it really could be. ...Read more

If hair is ingrown: and buried under skin, can stay indefinitely. I would have doctor remove as you can cause superinfection by piercing skin. Does not sound like STD:) ...Read more
