Sounds right: This is not uncommon. Try warm smokes in the bathtub to draw out the infection. If this does not clear it up you will need an antibiotic. In the future make sure you shave in one direction, use plenty of lubricant such as shaking cream and do not use an old razor blade. It would be very: unusual for a woman to have an ingrown hair on her lip line. A recurring bump on the lip line sounds more like Herpes Type I, the type that usually affects only the area around the mouth.
