Patients often experience difficulty starting the bm as if there is a blockage and then a tearing sensation during the bm, followed by severe throbbing pulsating sensation after the bm. Different issues: The left lower abdominal pain, etc. May be due to diverticular disease (or not), but without a full history and exam cannot accurately diagnose. I don't think so.: These are two different pathophysiology. You do not need digestive enzyme supplements if you do not have any deficiencies, i.E . Pancreatic deficiency . Probably not: Generally, small amounts of blood with stool occurring occasionally for years in a 25 year old person is likely from internal hemorrhoids that are bleeding, more so if it occurs mainly with constipation and the blood appears mainly in the water or on the toilet paper and not covering the stool. If there has been a change in your bowel habits or the amount of bleeding see your physician. ...Read more
