Difficult to predict: You have had a lot of physiological trauma and it is difficult for that area to recover quickly. It is worth taking the phenazopyyridine (azo) for relief even though it will cause your urine to turn red orange. Cover yourself for yeast as well since you have had cipro (ciprofloxacin). I think you mean cortisone ear drop. That is standard medication. Many doctors recommend antihistamine esp during sleep to prevent scratching or digging in the ear.
