Did pap smear yesterday,inflamed & bleeding cervix. Will go back after a week. Is there any medication i can take to stop my cervix from bleeding??
Treat locally: Once a lesion of the cervix starts bleeding the chance is that it will not stop spontaneously. One could apply laser treatment to stop it or else some form of cauterization. Yes: There is no need to repeat a pap smear unless it's abnormal. Cervicitis is treated with antibiotics and cervical infections can be evaluated for quickly without the need for waiting six months.
