No: A low IGA is not causing any of your problems. Your infections could be related to the lupus or some of the therapies. People with lupus can even have IGA deficiency and again this doesn't cause any further medical problems. You can discuss this with your rheumatologist. ...Read more

Antibiotics...: Make sure you take antibiotic treatment for that. I assume you most likely have been seen and possibly prescribe something already. It is not uncommon for people that suffer of immunosuppressive conditions like lupus to be infected with pseudomonas. Make sure you finish treatment as prescribe and if no signs of improvement in 2-3 days after tx started follow up with your doctor. ...Read more
