Crown, but...: Assuming the aching you are experiencing is coming exclusively from the tooth you had the root canal on the aching should have at least improved by now. It really depends on how bad the initial infection was and as long as things are feeling better as time goes by then your next step would be placing a crown on the tooth. ...Read more

Not sure...: I am not sure i understand your question. If there is an infection problem associated with a root canal procedure you had done i would call the dentist who performed the procedure to have it managed. If you have an infection and have not pursued care for it then i would call your dentist. A personal visual exam would provide you the best information for how to progress from here.... ...Read more

Not really: Tooth infection is caused by micro-organisms. As long as your tooth is sealed off smoking will not affect the tooth. However, smoking does constrict your vessels and decrease the healing ability of your gum and bone around the tooth. Smoking is not good for your gum health. ...Read more

Moderation: There aren't any clinical studies that show alcohol prevent antibiotics from working. However, you are much more likely to heal while you are healthy.
