Help for bump: Using a warm compress for 15-20 min several times a day might help it come to a head. Clogged follicles: The ear has follicles just like skin on the face and other parts of the body. Pimples are caused by bacteria, oil, and clogged pores. It is relatively common for follicles on the ear to become plugged and develop into pimples. It is only worrisome if the "pimple" is a sore that does not heal and go away after a couple of weeks.
Can Happen: Pimples are simply blocked up pores in the skin. Therefore, they can occur anywhere on the surface of the skin, including inside of the ear. However, if the spot has persisted for as long as a month, it is probably time to go see your doctor to get some help figuring out whether it is just a pimple or whether it is something else instead.
