What is a medicine / supplement be that can be taken to stop the proliferation of mammary gland cells?
NONE!: No medicine or homeopathic help. Your breasts are your breasts!
Has glands: In utero, all parts are there to start, then differentiate, according to genes (xx female, xy male), hormonal triggers.
No, not necessarily: If you have a palpable lump in your breast or any enlarged lymph nodes/glands in the armpit, you should be examined by your doctor to guide you further.
After 6 months into my post-op, I have more gland leftover in one breast. Should I attribute this to swelling or bad gland tissue?
If you had: A reduction mammoplasty some tissue was left behind. You might need a revision
My daughter is 10months & 3wks, she has a lump in her right breast, should I be concerned or. Could it just be glands?
Probably normal: If you're nursing, its probably normal. Newborns have breast tissue reactive to Estrogens and lactation hormones that can cause some breast tissue growth. Have your pediatrician check it out at the next check up.
Minimally glandular: Male breast has less glandular tissue, less fat, small areolae-r the rounded pigmneted skin around the nipple and small nipples. But when you suspect a lump causes are gynaecomastia is a condition in which a male has enlarged breast like a female breast, more pendulous for a male than less. Bilateral pgynaecomastia occurs in alcoholics, cirrhossi from more estroges. Cance needs to be ruled out.
No natural augment: I suspect you are asking about ways to increase breast size without surgery. I've never seen any scientific literature or patient studies that show any real improvement without surgery. I thnk a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is the right place to start if you are thinking about breast enhancement.See 3 more doctor answers
See a MD: Although breast cancer lumps tend to be hard and fixed to the chest wall, there are many exceptions in early cancers. Don't try to "guess" if it is cancer or not- see a md for an accurate assessment.
Get checked: Only a doctor can determine that.Get a more detailed answer ›
Only w/ microscope: Palpating the breast may show a lump. It is not possible to determine exactly what the lump is without a biopsy. To determine when a biopsy should be considered, docs consider patient age, prior history, whether the lump is changing or is associated with other signs like dimpling, family history and some other personal factors. A mammogram can increase or decrease concern as well.
