Not sure about the age of your child. Glad that you caught her before she hit her head on the floor. Place an ice-pack over the affected area on the face. Blocked tear ducts: Sticky eyes are usually related to a blocked lacrimal duct (tear duct). Massage gently with warm water cotton ball under the lower eyelid from nose out on each side several times a day. If the discharge gets heavy yellow or green, see your pediatrician.
