Not necessarily: You could eat less food but increase you fiber intake by switching to high fiber foods and keep your bowel movements regular. Or you could take a fiber laxative like Metamucil. In either case drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Depends on you: Frequent is more frequent for you. If you always poop 3 times a day then that is normal for you. If you always poop every other day then that is normal for you.
