No: Having heart palpitations anytime is not normal. Indigestion and/or Nexium (esomeprazole) do not cause heart palpitations either. This needs: an evaluation by a Gastroenterologist.. You may have GERD and structural abnormalities in your lower esophagus (gullet). Endoscopy and Acid studies will probably be indicated. Possible allergy: I've never heard of either flax or chia seeds causing heart palpitations. This could be a coincidence (just because you eat something and then get a symptom does not mean that was the cause of the symptom).
