Increased Skin Turgor And Mobility
In 6 yrs had 5 major head injuries.. And over 250+ hard blows to my head. I am so different physically. Mentally mobility...what damage is done?
Without an exam?: I am sure you can understand, but are you serious? There would be no way any of us 'strangers' on the internet could possibly give you any valid medical or scientific opinion. I wouldn't trust anyone willing to do so either. You need both an exam of the anatomy (MRI or CT Scan) and a complete neurological evaluation to go together for a real evaluation of any damage you may have sustained. ...Read more
I have trapped my finger in a car door, it the nail. And the skin around it has turned black and blue. It is very painful and the mobility is not 100%?
There may be: Just a soft tissue injury but there may also be a nondsplaced fracture or even a displaced fracture that a tendon or ligament attaaches to. While just pain and swelling alon can redurce motion, oif it is not getting better an evaluation and an xray may be needed. Even if fractured many fingettip injuries with intact skin as long as they ate not associated with a tendon injury don need much. ...Read more

77 year-old man with spasticity and stiffness in his back and limbs, causing great difficulty in mobility.....?
I have had a head cold for about two weeks. I started feeling better on Tuesday this week but yesterday and today the symptoms have increased.
Sinusitis: A routine head cold should have run its course in about a week or so. I suspect you've proceeded to a bacterial infection of your paranasal sinuses and/or bronchial tract and, in my opinion, antibiotics could now be prescribed after an evaluation by a physician. ...Read more
How long does it take to feel any benefits of an increased dose of Duloxetine going from 60mg to 120mg and if feel more medicated after starting the increased dose (head feeling 'buzzy') can this wear off over time?
Duloxetine: a potent: serotonin/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI) antidepressant. Common side effects: dizziness, somnolence, fatigue. Response is individual but in general doses above 60 mg may not add benefit and time to response may take 2-4 weeks. Side effects often resolve within that time otherwise, if intolerable, dose reduction or medication change may be necessary. Inform prescriber. Best regards. ...Read more
My Dr increased zispin by 7.5mg yesterday. Today I have nagging pressure feeling in head. Could this be increased anxiety. Thanks?
? side effect: Tell your doctor about the "pressure feeling in your head." He/she may want to first rule out a side effect of increased Zispin dose and/or any drug interaction effect with Lexapro (escitalopram) and methotrexate which you're also taking. Reversing the dose increase should answer the question. If pressure in head disappears, you've had a side effect. Please review with prescribing doctor. Best wishes. ...Read more
My boyfriend has an issue with the skin around his penis tightening while erect, ihe can not become fully erect anymore as it used to, this also has increased the amount of time before he can perform again. Any suggestions or exercises?
See a urologist.: It's not entirely clear from your question what may be happening, but I recommend evaluation by a urologist. If he is uncircumcised, a condition called phimosis where the foreskin does not retract properly could cause this skin tightening and impede erections. An full evaluation will be able to determine if phimosis, or some other dermatologic or infectious cause might be the problem. ...Read more

Symptoms include: rage, can't seem to coalesce thoughts, looses words, head feels full, eyes feel bulgy and bloodshot, suden increased intrst in sex?
Mood disorder: Might be worth taking an online screening questionnaire to see if there's a particular type of mood disorder that you may be dealing with. It might explain the irritability, trouble focusing, and heightened sexual interest. Not sure if the eye symptoms would be explainable on that basis, but rage especially might contribute. ...Read more

If I lean over coughing hard, often in shower, I get binocular diplopia for 5-10 min. Increased pressure in head seems to cause it. Could it be MS?
Highly doubt it: MS deficits are usually permanent and/or progressive. Your symptoms only occur when you cough. You are more likely to have intracranial hypertension. While there are many causes of this, the most common cause is hypertension, or undiagnosed high blood pressure. Get your BP checked & talk to a (HealthTap Prime) doctor. For a diagnosis. Good luck and thanks for asking HealthTap. ...Read more

Sure you're right?: Ketoconazole is a very good antifungal and should work for tinea versicolor. If it's not, you may need to get this checked to make sure it really is a fungal infection, and not something like pityriasis rosea or a contact dermatitis. A dermatologist may help in this regard. ...Read more
