More details: I would ask for more details about the mass seen. Did it appear to be a fibroid? If so could it be removed hysteroscopically? Did it appear to be a polyp? These are important questions to ask. There are many options for menorrhagia. Your obgyn should be able to help you solve this common problem.

33, F, PCOS, Can varicose veins cause decreased blood flow to the uterus and cause no sensation while having intercourse or low libido in a female?

Typically no: Varicose veins are not typically linked to decreased blood flow to the uterus, a lack of sensation during intercourse or decreased libido. There are a variety of treatments for varicose veins. Consider seeing a specialist. A gynecologist can address the very complex issue of decreased libido with you as well.

I have a regular 27day cycle. Period lasts 2days light flow. Does that mean my uterus lining is to thin. I ovulate every cycle confirmed by bloods.?

I have a regular 27day cycle. Period lasts 2days light flow. Does that mean my uterus lining is to thin. I ovulate every cycle confirmed by bloods.?

Everything's normal: Regular ovulatory (cycles in which ovulations take place) menstrual cycles, a history of several pregnancy with a childbirth all indicate that the hormonal feedback cycle in that particular woman are fully intact as is the inner lining of the uterus. No reason to be concerned that the lining could be too thin.

I started Clomid (clomiphene) at day 3 of light bleeding without the flow of blood, was this wrong, how my follicular phase, ovulation, uterus will be affected?

I started Clomid (clomiphene) at day 3 of light bleeding without the flow of blood, was this wrong, how my follicular phase, ovulation, uterus will be affected?

Probably OK: If the time was right for your period then day three start is OK. If your periods were irregular and you known you were not pregnant - the bleeding may have just been BTB and starting the Clomid (clomiphene) would be OK. The only time Clomid (clomiphene) would be a bad idea would be if you have already conceived or if you have ovulated within the last 24 hours and still could conceive. We do not take Clomid (clomiphene) if pregnant.

What do blood clots mean during menstruation? I have a heavy flow, and at one point in time it was said I had a miscarriage due to uterus lining detaching...

Menorrhagia: Heavy bleeding, or menorrhagia can be due to a variety of reasons. Most common is hormonal. Endometriosis can be a factor. In addition, thyroid, pituitary glands, as well as weight (too thin/heavy), rarely vonwillebrand syndrome. Not usual in someone at 19, a lesion such as a polyp or fibroid can cause as well. Clots just mean excess blood. May want to consider workup with gynecologist?

Does this mean: You had a period in january? Once you have an actual period - that means you aren't pregnant from sexual activity prior to that time. If you have missed a period - go ahead and take a home pregnancy test now. Take care.

I had my uterus removed last year of may. I'm seeing a very small amount of blood on the tissue is this normal?

I had my uterus removed last year of may. I'm seeing a very small amount of blood on the tissue is this normal?

Gynecologist: Was the cervix also removed? Blood spotting from the vagina is abnormal and a gynecological exam is recommended. If there is blood in the urine, then a urologist should be consulted.

I've heard that when we doesn't do for long time sex, can close the uterus and can get out blood after like the first time. Is that correct?

Be careful: It's good that you're questioning what you hear. This sounds like a product of someone's imagination. If it's coming from someone who's trying to convince you to have sex with them, it's one reason not to.

Why is there blood in my uterus if I'm not pregnant?

Why is there blood in my uterus if I'm not pregnant?

Menses: Normal function of the uterus is to build up a lining each month in preparation for pregnancy. If don't get pregnant, the lining sheds, by bleeding, and process starts all over again. As we get older, process may not function so smoothly; menses may become irregular as well as the shedding process. So it is not unusual to have blood in the uterus. Other causes: polyps, fibroids, etc. Can cause.

How bad is it to have blood in your uterus during pregnancies?

How bad is it to have blood in your uterus during pregnancies?

Better not to.: Some women do have small hematomas (blood collections) behind the placenta or between the membranes in early pregnancy. Usually these go away on their own without trouble but having a big one that keeps growing can lead to miscarriage. Pregnancy risk of certain complications will be higher.

If I have an excessively heavy uterus, could I be pregnant with negative blood tests?

If I have an excessively heavy uterus, could I be pregnant with negative blood tests?

No, tests reliable: If the blood pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant. I am not sure what you mean by a "heavy" uterus. Perhaps a uterus with fibroids or adenomyosis? Either way, these conditions do not mask the laboratory diagnosis of pregnancy.

If I donate my blood (pint) in advance before myomectomy surgery, can I be assured that my uterus will be saved if I lost blood whilst operation/sur?

If I donate my blood (pint) in advance before myomectomy surgery, can I be assured that my uterus will be saved if I lost blood whilst operation/sur?

Life isn't that way: In life, assurances are hard to come by. Donating a pint of blood only assures one has a pint of blood in the blood bank. That's all. Sometimes, one just has to have faith that things will turn out okay.
