How can I help someone who has bouts of uncontrollable crying, indecision, panic etc. Over a key professional decision?

How can I help someone who has bouts of uncontrollable crying, indecision, panic etc. Over a key professional decision?

Vitamin therapy: I know that this sounds weird, but emotions are initiated by the "automatic" brain. High calorie malnutrfition causes this part of the brain to become too easily activated. I treat this with intravenous vitamins but I would suggest that this person cleans up diet, especially sugar and sees a nutritionist doc. It is truly amazing to see the recovery if taken to heart and followed.

Could pba cause my crying I have NF type 1 I have lots of pain with this I take lots of medications but have had this uncontrollable crying?

Neurology consult...: ....would be necessary. It is not in my vocabulary to say something can NEVER happen in this world of medicine but since NF1 is basically defined as a PERIPHERAL NERVE type of problem which definitely is painful and so forth...it would not be the most likely type of problem in my opinion to cause or be associated with PBA. I also searched the literature and couldn't find anything convincing.

Mood changes yes: Many women experience mood changes at menses. When the period starts there is an abrupt drop off of both estrogen and progesterone. My mom started gabapentin 300mg tonight and woke up an he after with uncontrollable crying, why? And how do we get it out of her system?

Patience: The medication will eventually metabolize out of her system. Be sure to contact her MD immediately to inform of the side effect to get the best advice on stopping the medication as I don't know what medical condition is being treated. Emotional side effects - including suicidal thoughts - are uncommon but can happen. Stay with her - reassure her - and encourage sleep. http://www. Drugs. Com/pro/gabapentin.html

Possibly: More likely you have a delayed cycle most likely secondary to stress and some cramps secondary to functional ovarian cysts. If your pregnancy test remains negative and no period comes, consider an evaluation, ruling out thyroid disease and consider an ultrasound.

What to do if my toddler won't stop crying?

What to do if my toddler won't stop crying?

See pediatrician: Won't stop crying is very different than "cries often" -- either way, a call or visit to the pediatrician is warranted to obtain further information besides crying and to provide you with the best course of action. Pediatricians are used to receiving these calls, you should feel comfortable calling them to ask.

Why does my toddler wake crying and vibrating all over her body?

Many reasons: Could be bad dreams. It could be something called night terrors; if he doesn't seem to know what's going on around him and he has no memory of the event in the morning, it might be this. Or maybe the room is cold. In any case, it's not likely to go on very long, and if it does, you should speak to your pediatrician about it.

Wake up when I hear my toddler crying during sleep, should I go to him?

Wake up when I hear my toddler crying during sleep, should I go to him?

It depends.: If your child isn't waking up during these episodes, he may be having night terrors. If so, the best things to do are to ensure there is nothing in his bed he can get hurt on, and keep him on a consistent sleep schedule. If he has a habit of waking and then crying, as long as he has no medical cause for this, it's best to see if he can put himself back to sleep. His doctor can advise.

Teething: The symptoms of teething are highly variable between children. He is probably getting new molars. Some children get teeth without any symptoms at all, while others are just miserable. Cold teething rings, pain medications and messaging the gum areas can help somewhat. Ibuprofen usually works much better than acetaminophen. A natural treatment named camilia can help. Good luck!

I was cleaning my toddler's ear when she started crying and saying it hurts. That night when she's already sleeping I checked her ear and saw blood?

I was cleaning my toddler's ear when she started crying and saying it hurts. That night when she's already sleeping I checked her ear and saw blood?

Likely scraped wall: The ear wax is created in the outer half of the canal and will fall out if left alone. Whatever you can scoop out with your fingernail under direct vision is fine to move. Otherwise, leave the ear alone. Any swab or q-tip placed in the canal can & will scrape the wall & make it bleed occasionally. It will also push the wax in so far it will never pack the ear drum. A visit can confirm the injury.
