It may not absorb: If it is truly a hemorrhagic cyst it should resolve in 4-6 weeks if not sooner. If it is an endometrioma, it may not resolve on its own and may require surgery to improve your ivf outcome. I recommend you talk to your reproductive endocrinologist about strategy here. You don't want to lose time if you have diminished ovarian reserve. ...Read more

Ivf (Definition)

In vitro fertilization is an assisted reproductive technology. Ivf is a procedure used to treat fertility problems and assist with the conception of a child. During ivf mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. A few days later, the fertilized egg (embryo) or eggs are implanted into the uterus. Interferes : Ovarian cysts that are large or produce estrogen may interfere with the growth and/or quality of your eggs. That is why your doc will likely wait for them to shrink before starting fertility drugs. ...Read more

Cysts hurts : Hemorrhagic cysts and endometriosis are both common causes of pain. Since you are planning on ivf treatment options are going to be limited but i would certainly discuss the issues with your ivf specialists. Together you will decide whether to proceed with ivf or deal with cysts and endometriosis first. ...Read more

I have adhensions in falubian tube and ovaries and I have small ovarian cysts over ovary.Dr said i must do IVF is it difficult how much success rate?

Here in the us we have a success rate of approximately 50%-60% chance of pregnancy with one ivf cycle. The success rate could be higher or lower based on other factors such as the condition of the sperm, the number of eggs retrieved etc.. ...Read more

My first IVF cycle is in two weeks and I have found out thati am not immune to measles. Time is a factor since i haverecurring ovarian cysts. Should I have this vaccine?

IVF and MMR: If you haven't started taking the stimulation medications, it may be better to delay the cycle start and get the vaccine now. It would only delay the cycle by another week or 2. If you've already started the medications to stimulate your ovaries, you can still go ahead with the cycle and even get pregnant. You'd get the vaccine after the first trimester of pregnancy. ...Read more

Hydrate well: having a blood in the urine indicate either UTI, or a kidney stone, either way hard to differentiate a pain from UTI, or a pain from ovarian cyst. hydrate well by drinking a lot of water, and cranberry juice you might want to see a doctor for possible antibiotic. your GYN need to keep the eye on your cyst, to make sure it is not getting larger. good luck ...Read more

My tvs scan shows both ovarian cyst also size of ovary larger.Have no kids.4 yrz of marriage. Can i tak danazole or laproscope best for fertility n cys?

Neither: Your doctor may chose to treat or just watch the cyst(s) depending on their size and appearance. Danazol is used to treat the pain of endometriosis, not infertility. It is neither safe nor effective for fertility treatment. Laparoscopy is surgery and should not be the first treatment for infertility, unless the doctor wishes to treat the cyst. ...Read more

I have had ovarian cyst whch was removed.And. Had androgen imbalance too.I have neither nw ...What should I do for facial n chest hair?

Depends on the cause: Unwanted facial hair can have many causes. Birth control pills can do it, as can medical conditions that alter hormone levels, such as polycystic ovaries. If you are taking bcps ask your doctor about changing to another brand; if not, ask about testing to rule out internal medical conditions other than those you've already ruled out. ...Read more
