Consider social skills an art like any other. Similar to guitar or tennis, it takes loads of practice and forcing yourself into social situations to become masterful.
My recommendation is to PRACTICE everywhere you go. Start simple like trying to charm up your waiter or sales clerk. They're easy pickins for practice! :)
