Hard to say: It is relatively common for a 1 yo to be a bit on the anemic side. Recurrent illness does increase metabolic demands on their system and they have been growing at a rate that can outpace their dietary intake of iron.A simple addition of proper medicinal iron can improve the anemia and working on diet can eliminate it in the future.
