See a Doctor: There could be many things such as achalasia, which is increased tone of the esophageal sphincter. Symptoms include what you've described along with chest pain. This might also be caused by hiatal hernia with is a protrusion of the stomach into the esophagus. Needs further eval!!: At your age, need to know duration/ onset of symptoms, need physical exam!! Our concern is missing a tumor or malignancy!! Labs and imaging with CT or at least sonogram, symptoms could mean Gallbladder problems- gallstones? What other symptoms? Weight loss? Urine changes? Bowel changes? Food makes symptoms worse??! Fecal transplant: I'm sure you've tried everything available, including yoghurt cultures. It sounds like you have irritable bowel syndrome. GERD & Belching: Have you tried any remedies for gas such as gavison and others that can reduce bloating, belching? It might help. THe distension of the digestive tract can cause some vagus nerve stimulation leading to dizziness or light headedness. Hope this helps. Best of luck ...Read more

Air swallowing: The commonest cause of gas is swallowing air. The other things mentioned are certainly possible but less so. Try and pay attention to what and HOW you are eating and swallowing. Could be your meds: I see that you are or were on levofloxacin. This could be causing it. You can stop the med and call the physician who wrote it. Stress may really play a factor here however. Not sure of: WHY this happens but its QUITE COMMON, What do you "take" for your bloating/pain??? Sometimes that's the reason.....
