I'm Pregnant Can I Take Theraflu
Better options: Theraflu contains a variety of pharmaceuticals like acetominophen, antihistamines, cough suppressants & decongestants that may reduce symptoms but do nothing to actually help you heal. These can have unpleasant side effects. It also has artificial colors/sweeteners/flavors & preservatives. I would not take it during the first trimester, but most docs feel it is ok later in pregnancy. See my comments. ...Read more
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Running fevers, chills, body aches, cough and sneezing. Nausea. I'm pregnant can I take theraflu? If not then what?
Need to talk to OB!:
cold will get better within seven days with or without any medication. If you are suffering from fever, it should be ok to take fever medications such as tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil. Any medication at this stage of pregnancy is best avoided if possible. Give it sometime, it will be fine. Always talk to your obstetrician before you take any medication if you must. Have a great day. ...Read more

Probably not: Mebendazole has shown activity damaging to the infant in pregnant rats at oral doses approximately equal to the human dose. The use of Mebendazole is not recommended in pregnant women. Since the course of treatment is so short you could refrain from sex or use contraceptives during that time and then resume trying to become pregnant. ...Read more

Probably not: It depends on how far along you are. In the first Trimester, no medication. Use nasal saline to this your nasal secretion and to make it easy to blow your nose. We really do not know the effect of Meds on the developing fetus snd we do not recommend Sny Meds. If you are further along you might be able to take some Tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever and headache. You might be able to take Nenadryl for congest ...Read more
Do not take Clotrimazole in pregnancy (class c - animal side-effects noted). I cannot think why anyone would prescribe Clotrimazole in pregnancy - seek a second opinion for your condition.

Take the test: If you want to know if you are pregnant, take a test. In today's world you do not need to wonder if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms. Pregnancy tests are available at any pharmacy and in minutes you will have your answer. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. ...Read more
It's been 12 days from my last day of my last period I am now bleeding again on the 12 day. Does this mean I'm pregnant? Can I take a home pregnancy
Patience: A urine pregnancy test, done correctly, gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon, and thus lead to a repeat test. If a woman gets her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed. ...Read more

I'm 50 and had an ablation about 4 years ago. I do not get periods but not sure if I'm in menapause. Could I get pregnant? Can I take plan b?
Very low chance: The chances of you conceiving at this point are exceedingly low. Very few women naturally conceive at the age of 50. Additionally, you had an ablation which wiped out the endometrium (where a pregnancy implants). Also, you no longer get periods. I don't think it would be worth the cost/effort to take Plan B. If you're still curious, you could have your doctor check your estradiol and FSH level ...Read more
