Reflux: I'm assuming you mean heartburn by upset. In that case over the counter antacids like mylanta or maalox are fine. In addition Pepcid and ranitidine are excellent safe acid blockers (their generics are fine). However, i don't recommend tagamet. If its nausea, try emetrol and a bland diet. If things persist call your OB doc for a prescription medication. ...Read more

Yes it is: Upset stomach with or without nausea/vomiting/diarrhea is a side effect of azithromycine.If the upset stomach is not too bad and you can tolerate it then continue with it.But if it is too bad and you can not tolerate it stop and call your doctor andhe/she will advice to stop and change the antibiotic if it is absolutely needed or re examine for a need to continue antibiotics. ...Read more

Probably acid reflux: It sounds like the baby is taking up enough room in your belly that you are getting some acid reflux. This is when acid in the stomach is pushed back up into the esophagus or swallowing tube. It would feel just like you describe.
