This is a disease which can be transmitted from one person to another person through sexually related activities. HIV: Transmission of this virus occurs only with intimate contact, either sexually or through needle sharing or blood or organ exchange. Make sure you have only protected sex. Ideally you might want to have a new sexual partner tested and not have sex with them until you are sure they are negative. Condoms are very effective. Several wives of my HIV patients have been negative for years. ...Read more

Herpes: I would first ask that you clarify which type of herpes you have. 75% of americans have herpes type one (the oral herpes) and 25% of americans have type two (known as 'genital' herpes). These humans have relationships, marry, have families. If the person you partner with does not have herpes there is a way for your physician to put you on a treatment to lower your contagiousness. Best wishes. ...Read more

Depends: If neither of you ever had a previous sexual partner you could toss this issue aside. However, there are STD's like HPV that are often asymptomatic in both genders but can reactivate & pass to a partner later. If you have both been screened & found to have no evidence of any past infections, monogamy would protect you both going forward. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Bartholin duct cyst: The bartholin glands are small fluid secreting glands that moisten the outer vaginal region. They connect to the surface via small ducts. Went to gay bathhouse sucked on penis about 5min. 1st time. No precum or ejaculation are my odds great that I got std? Should I get tested. Worried.
STD: There is going to be a much higher incidence of STD's at bathhouses. Here in South Florida that's the case big time. You may want to get tested by your primary. Things like herpes, gonorrhea and chlamydia may be rather obvious in their presentation, but syphilis may not. Getting HIV and Hep C tested is also a good idea though I don't think it applies dramatically from what you've described. ...Read more
