Common: As your uterus expands with the baby, the muscles may have some mild cramping. This is very common. As long as you are not bleeding, and they remain mild, you can just keep an eye on the symptoms. If in doubt, contact your OB. See your OB: You need to see your OB. Checking BHCG and progesterone levels would indicate if everything is OK. If the BHCG is rechecked 2 days later, it should about double, again indicating that everything is likely OK. ...Read more

Probably ok but...: During pregnancy, the blood vessels on the cervix can get big &"fragile". Most likely the fingers disturbed some of the blood vessels. This isn't dangerous for the baby. But you should give your doctor a call. Ultrasound would be helpful. There's a small chance that the bleeding is coming from a placenta previa, the placenta is sitting over the cervix.
