40 weeks pregnant heartburn, back pain and feel like I have to go #2 and nothing comes out. Early labor?

Not yet necessarily: Just means that the size of the gravid uterus is pressing on the colon/abdominal content giving the urge to defecate. Also likely causing the back pain as well. Likely won't be long until you go into labor, based on gestation. Try to lay in the left lateral recumbent position, and follow up with your ob/gyn for further instructions. ...Read more

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and can't hold my bowel movements for that long with bad camps and lower back aches is this a sign of early labor? Oh I'm just g

No: It is simply the pressure of the baby upon the coon and rectum and does not represent early labor. If the abdomen is "tightening" in response to the "backaches" rhythmically and can be timed, then those may be early labor contractions. ...Read more

Is it possible that you can go into early labor with little or no pain? I've been having cramp like pains in my pelvis and lower back. What should I do

Just been told that my mucus plugged has started to come out. No blood, but is it a sign of early labor? Im 36 weeks and 3 days? Should i be worried?

No worries!: The mucus plug is basically a collection of secretions the body makes to block the cervix and prevent causes of infection to reach inside the uterus and pregnancy. While 'losing your mucus plug' usually occur during the latter stages of pregnancy, it is not necessarily an indication for immediate delivery. Watch for other signs, such as contractions or leaking of fluid, to determine labor. ...Read more
