Im 37 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby. I havent had a bowel movement in a month and now Im having night sweats. Im also having tightening in my belly?
You need a laxative: It is not a good idea to go a month without a bowel movement, especially when you are pregnant, which obviously takes up a lot of pelvic and abdominal space already. You should take daily Metamucil with lots of water and use daily products such as Milk of Magnesium(at least a tablespoon) and Miralax(by the directions) if no results with MOM. Reason for checking: I suppose the answer would vary depending on why it was checked. If there were certain symptoms or problems then the tests need to be analyzed in that context. Simply looking at only these numbers with no context they do not appear particularly abnormal for the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Depends: Your 'awareness' of the baby's presence should really not change the further along you get. Because of space issues the baby may not make as many big kicks as before.
