Im 17 weeks pregnant and 104 pounds I've only gained 2 pounds is this normal?

Im 17 weeks pregnant and 104 pounds I've only gained 2 pounds is this normal?

Yes: Weight gain early in pregnancy is not and should not be the issue so many people want to make it into. As long as you are eating regularly, taking in good quality food in reasonable quantities and taking a multivitamin (prenatal), i would not worry about weight gain. On the other hand, if you are not eating for whatever reason, that needs to change. If it's nausea, seek your obgyn's help. ...Read more

Pregnancy weight: you are doing fine. You were overweight to start so you are doing great now. Follow your do tors advice for weight gain. I would suspect about 15-20 lbs would be great for the whole pregnancy. Eat a well balanced diet. Eat for one, you. Take your prenatals. ...Read more

Just found out pregnant with twins 17 weeks baby boy smaller than girl can't see doctor for two Weeks is it normal for one to be smaller than the othe?

Normal to be sl diff: Twins, esp if fraternal, are often slightly different size, but your doctor will continue to monitor each baby's growth to ensure that each one develops normally. Rarely, one infant "steals" nutrition from the other, but one needs serial ultrasounds to determine if there is a problem. Continue to eat healthy, take prenatal vitamins, get plenty of rest and hope for the best. Good luck. ...Read more

Im 17 weeks pregnant and im having a little vaginal pain..No spotting or bleeding..Is that normal?

Pain at 17 weeks: It's possible that the pain is from stretching ligaments as the uterus gets bigger from the baby growing. But check in with you OB doctor to be sure there isn't anything else happening. ...Read more
