Terminal Ileitis: Not sure how this diagnosis was made unless ct scan or MRI or barium x-ray was done. If the diagnosis is accurate, this could be consistent with crohn's disease which can be a significant problem. Usually this is associated with abdominal pain, diarrhea, failure to thrive in the young & a variety of other symptoms. An infection can mimic crohn's on x-ray. Pediatric GI assessment is appropriate. ...Read more

Crohn's disease: An ulcer in the terminal ileum is suggestive of crohn's disease but does not mean you actually have it. You need to see a gastroenterologist and have serologies sent for inflammatory bowel disease. That will determine if you have crohn's. ...Read more

Most TB drugs: Can be safely taken during pregnancy. In fact all 4 first line drugs [isoniazid, rifampicin (rifampin), Ethambutol and pyrazinamide] have an excellent safety record in pregnancy. The bigger risk to a developing fetus is untreated tb. If you are concerned about this it is best to bring it up with your wife's TB doctor and her obstetrician. ...Read more
