Igg Blood Test Normal Range
IgG subclasses: There are several classes of immunoglobulins like IgA, IgM, and IgE. IgG also has subclasses that we test for. A subclass deficiency can be an explanation for susceptibility to certain types of infections. An Allergist/Immunologist can put the results in perspective for you in the context of your history. ...Read more
My ch50 blood test value is 394 and 300 is normal; C3 and C4 are normal values; IgG subclass2 serotypes in blood test are lowi. Have thyroiditis.
Ignore it?: Ch50 is hard to do correctly, unless the value is way off i would ignore it, and it may just be up from a transient infection or be your normal. Unless your igg subclass is very low, i would ignore this as well. We pathologists say, "focus on the person, not the numbers." by the way, i attended lfhs and perhaps we know one another. ...Read more
Don't know: Need to know why the tests were ordered in the first place. If you suffer from recurrent or chronic sinus or lung infections, then even a normal total IgG may not be enough since it is whether your body can produce specific defense against bacterial (qualitative) than the total number (quantitative) that matters most. See an allergist. ...Read more
Can you have lupus with completely normal bloodwork? ANA, ENA neg, Complement levels normal, CBC normal. ESR of 2 and normal CRP
CBC test results: Elevated MCHC, elevated MCH, bottom of range for Haematocrit, everything else within normal ranges. What do these results mean?
Nothing: Your physician may want to repeat them. I trust you do not have spherocytosis or if you do, that you've been worked up. At most, a reticulocye count may be in order. Sometimes the machines can be a bit mis-calibrated. High MCHC is quite uncommon and if you feel well I wouldn't be troubled. Reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end. ...Read more

Sounds good.: Although it is impossible to definitively analyze lab results without knowing the patient and the results of all the rest of the lab tests, the portion that you have summarized here sound normal. You should get the opinion of the doctor who did the tests for a more definitive analysis, particularly if you're still having problems. Good luck. ...Read more
Blood test report: homocysteine level high/ blood platelets low/ bilirubin high. What could be wrong?
Big picture please: As a lab doctor, this means nothing in isolation. I appreciate your caring & this is no familiar pattern. Is the person clinically healthy? How off are the values? Vegetarians and junk-fooders are equally at risk for high homocysteine as are folks with genetic disease. Bilirubin -- gilbert's? Platelets -- gin and tonic? This isn't something to discuss in a 400-character text thx 4 understanding. ...Read more

Normal hemoglobin, lower than normal MCH and MCHC). Serum ferritin in low normal range(40). What could it mean?
Stop worrying: You may have a very mild thalassemia variant. Reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthy folks fall outside on either end. Ask your physician whether you have "thal minor" -- simply so that you'll know in case you are thinking of marrying someone else with it. ...Read more
