If You Have White Cells In Your Vaginal Discharge Does It Mean A Std Is Present
This is a disease which can be transmitted from one person to another person through sexually related activities. This does not limit these activities to heterosexual intercourse, but encompasses all modalities of human-to-human sexual activity. It does not include illnesses that may make an individual more susceptible to a condition because of a sexual ...Read more
What does it mean when you have a high white blood cell count in a vaginal discharge. I was STD tested and they came back negative. I was tested for trich, gonnorhea, and chlymdia?
Other ones: Were you tested for BV (bacterial vaginosis), mycoplasma, ureaplasma? While gonorrhea/chlamydia is a lab test, trich is usually done in the office and may be missed. There is affirm test that uses dna method of detection for bv, trich and yeast that is more sensitive in my experience. Also, ureaplasma and mycoplasma are the infections not tested for and often not considered by providers. ...Read more

White clumpy vaginal discharge looks like toilet paper. It causes no itch or anything. Got checked for a YI and STDs both came back negative.
Likely okay: Sometimes women associate thick discharge with yeast. It's possible, but not always so. If you don't have itching I wouldn't worry about yeast. Sometimes discharge changes based on what we eat, our hydration status. I would recommend drinking a lot of water, watching your diet and avoiding putting anything foreign in the vagina. Sex is okay. Always use a condom until negative STD report for him ...Read more

Bacterial vaginosis?: The most common cause of discharge with foul vaginal odor (or odor alone) is bacterial vaginosis, an overgrowth of mostly normal bacteria. As you have noticed, odor often is most noticible after sex. Trichomonas, an STD, can cause the same symptoms. Treatment with metronidazole (Flagyl®) usually is effective. Good luck! ...Read more

I have an almost daily painless but thick and gummy vaginal discharge about the size of a pea which is white/ yellow. Should I be worried? Is this STD?
Yes, possible STD: Any new or unexplained vaginal discharge should be professionally examined, and colored vaginal discharge (yellow, creamy, etc) and mucus ("gummy") suggest an infection, perhaps involving the cervix. STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia) are among the most common causes, especially in sexually active persons your age. See a doctor or clinic this week for sure. Good luck! ...Read more

Get tested yourself: There are many possible causes of vaginal discharge, but yellow color suggests infection. You need to be tested for STDs yourself; you cannot rely only on your bf's test results. Testing in men sometimes misses chlamydia or gonorrhea, and men usually aren't tested at all for some infections e.g. trichomonas. There are excellent STD clinics in Malaysia and Singapore. Good luck! ...Read more
